Qualifications:
To qualify for SAML Championships, a competitior must have participated in at least two (2) prior SAML contests in the division they intend to compete in, ensuring accurate placement in championship divisions. SAML Championships may not be a competitor’s first competition.

Do You Qualify to Compete Virtually?
Drum majors whose schools are within a 45-mile radius of a designated central location (announced at the start of each season) must compete in person throughout the season, regardless of the travel distance to specific competition sites. For example, if a competitor falls within the 45-mile radius but must travel 70 miles to a competition, they are still required to compete in person.
