FALL STEP-OFF 2023

Prep and “step-off” for the upcoming competitive season with Student Academy of Musical Leaders on Sunday, October 1st!

This event is designed for student leaders seeking to make meaningful connections with their peers and receive guidance on how to properly prepare for SAML’s 2024 competitive season.

Whether you’re new to SAML or are a veteran, this event is for you! Our staff and judges will go through updates on score sheets and rubrics and will offer advice on routine construction, music selection, and the requirements to excel in the arts of conducting and flourishing. We look forward to seeing you there!

Flourishing for Beginning Students, Flourishing for Veteran Trainees, Flourishing for Head Parade Drum Majors and Conductors

11:30PM | Lunch Break - Pizza will be provided

12:00 | Leadership Session & Activities
